Hello everyone!
I am currently in the great state of Texas in the city of Dallas on another tour posting my first tour update too.
I started off my tour about two weeks ago on Wednesday, July 18 driving out to Southern California with my band. On the first day my car broke down before we made it to our show. We were able to get the car into a shop, rented a car, and made it to our show in Redlands, CA on time. But sadly the car ended up costing $2,200. After donations from fans, I was able to get $500 of that covered and get it fixed.
That same weekend we lead worship and put on a concert for 600-700 youth at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa’s camp in Green Valley Lake and I got my surf on with the Walking On Water surf camp at Point Loma University.
The past week and a half I’ve been touring through deserts in Arizona and Texas. Stopping by Phoneix, Tuscon, Austin, Houston, Hurst, and San Antonio where I visited my buddies from the band, Abandon. I also discovered a new favorite coffee shop while I was in SA called “Local Coffee”. If you’re a coffee lover and are coming through Texas, this place is a must stop.
I still have 2 more weeks left of tour, and I must say I feel very blessed that I get do what I do. Even with my car breaking dow, frequent 8+ hour solo drives and other unglamorous aspects, I get to experience so many wonderful things in the process! People coming closer to Jesus. Seeing many beautiful sites on my drives. Visiting old friends and making new ones. God’s provision in some of the most unlikely circumstances, and incredible support from my fan base.
Thank you everyone for all the support! It means so much and please don’t stop!
